Newly appointed general manager of the Dash Resort in Langkawi is Effendi Ramley who comes with many years of service in the hospitality industry.

In all, he has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry.

Effendi takes the helm at the popular resort with his dynamic style of management skills.

“We want to strive to provide a whole new level of experience to the guests and expand the most exciting brand in the island further to the local and international market,” said Effendi.

He has a strong background in room division and people management skills.

Prior to coming to Dash, Effendi was attached to The St. Regis Langkawi as its hotel manager for the past three years.

Effendi is also a well traveled hotelier working with international chains like Starwood Hotels & Resort that is now part of Marriott International and Accor Group, his valuable experiences Ri-Yaz Hotels & Resorts is also an asset.

He believes in teamwork and therefore any small idea or suggestion is not small or irrelevant.

Effendi is a motor sport fan and he enjoys riding his BMW R Nine T Bike, cycling and spending quality time with his family.

With 106 rooms and villas, the Dash Resort Langkawi has become the talk of the island with the reopening of interstate borders.

Their infinity swimming pools are a hit among guests and the giant fluffy island-hopper rabbit awaits  guests where they laze and enjoy their cocktails and cool drinks.
