What better place for the future generation to learn about the conservation of nature and environment than at the Penang Hill which is filled with lush flora and fauna.

The newly launched Habitat-WhyteHouse Nature classroom which caters for children from the ages of four to six will do just that.

On hand to launch the commendable effort was Penang Chief Minister, Chow Kon Yeow who also hailed the initiative which is located in a world-class rain forest.

“Children will be taught practical skills with nature-based themes and tools. Studies have shown that a nature-based education offers many unique benefits to a child’s academic, social and behavioural development,” said Chow in his address.

Meanwhile, the managing director of The Habitat, Allen Tan added that classes will commence every Wednesday from Nov 11, 2020 and each session is priced at RM80 lasting three hours.

“All of the necessary SOPs for physical distancing and other necessary safety healthy features will be observed,” he added.

As for the WhyteHouse Education Group, they are an established pre-school institution with over 10 years of experience, striving and providing quality education in five centres to over 200 children in Penang.
