One of the world’s largest integrated tourism groups, the TUI Group, is set to embark on a landmark hospitality project in Johor, Malaysia.
This follows the official signing ceremony between TUI Group and United Malayan Land Berhad (UMLand) to develop the TUI Blue Hotel at UMCity Medini Lakeside. The 240-key lifestyle hotel is expected to open its doors by the fourth quarter of 2026.
TUI Group is globally renowned for its comprehensive tourism portfolio, which includes a network of over 1,600 travel agencies, six airlines with approximately 150 aircraft, 18 cruise ships, and a collection of more than 300 hotels worldwide. The introduction of the TUI Blue brand in Malaysia marks a significant milestone in the group’s expansion into Southeast Asia.
TUI Blue, the group’s modern lifestyle hotel brand, emphasizes tailored experiences, authentic local immersion, and digital convenience. Its debut in Medini, Iskandar Puteri, signifies a strong vote of confidence in Johor’s position as an emerging hub for international tourism and lifestyle investment.
