Preserving Perak’s heritage and historic structures like the British era tin mining dredge, Tanjung Tualang Tin Dredge No 5 (TT5) is the priority of the Perak Menteri Besar Incorporated (MB Inc).

With this in mind MB Inc inked a collaboration with a marine engineering company, ACF Industries (M) Sdn Bhd recently.

ACF Industries will help restore, renew and carry out maintenance work on TT5 which is already 83-years-old.

Present at the signing ceremony was MB Inc chief executive officer, Anuar Zainal Abidin and Hamly Mohd Salleh, head of operations, ACF Industries.

For the uninitiated, it is vital to know that the TT5 dredge is the only tin mining dredge which is still intact in the country.
