Tourism Selangor went to the aid of 12 of its staff members who were affected by the massive floods.
They were provided with food baskets, daily rations and a cash allowance of RM800 each.

A total of 20 staff were involved in the relief work.
Aside from this, Tourism Selangor collaborated with Aliments to distribute 500 food packs to the affected folks in the Hulu Langat District namely in Kampung Bukit Dukung, Kampung Sungai Sekamat, Kampung Sri Jambu and Kampung Baru Batu.

The chief executive officer of Tourism Selangor, Azrul Shah Mohamad added that they are concerned for the welfare of the impacted staff and other victims.
“The disaster has also affected Tourism activities in the state and we hope that things will return to normalcy very soon, ” he said in a press statement.
Tourism Selangor would also like to remind those affected to drink only treated water and uncontaminated food.
All at Tourism Selangor will keep the welfare of the flood victims in their prayers.
