Get your baggage ready and fly to your regular destinations, be it for business, work or family matters.

Malaysian officials are holding talks with officials in Thailand, Brunei and Singapore about allowing travel between the four countries without restrictions imposed to curb Covid-19.

Transport Minister Wee Ka Siong said Wisma Putra was holding talks with Thailand, Brunei and Singapore on this matter.

He said Foreign Minister Hishammuddin Hussein had met with his Singaporean counterpart to discuss several matters including the quarantine period for those entering the country.

“Previously, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei and Singaporea have forged ties in tourism and it is hopeful that the cooperation will resume as usual,” Wee said.

He added that discussions on the matter including issues related to the exemption of 14-day mandatory quarantine for tourists from the countries must be expedited so that decisions can be made soon.
