Wine lovers take note, with an increasing emphasis placed on sustainable food and conscious consumption, several wineries in New South Wales,  Australia are already producing their wine range through these organic practices. 

Here are some of the “biodynamic” wineries that would be perfect places to visit for the up coming year in 2020.

Krinklewood Vineyard offers guests a unique experience with award winning biodynamic wines, Provençal style gardens and an abundance of beautiful birdlife. The property is located in the picturesque Broke Fordwich valley, a sub region of the lower Hunter Valley in NSW. Must tries include Hunter Valley classics such as Semillon, Verdelho, Chardonnay and Shiraz, plus a dry French-style Rosé, Basket Press Wines, a dessert wine, Sparkling Blanc de Blanc, Sparkling Shiraz and the always popular Wild range. Accommodation can be found near the winery at the Hunter Valley Resort for MYR 246 a night (2 pax) 

Macquariedale Organic Wines follows a passion for natural winemaking, specialising in converting small parcels of grapes into the most delicious natural wines available in Australia. They are the first vineyard in the Hunter Vallety to receive full Biodynamic Certification,  The wines are organic, biodynamic, low preservative, vegan-friendly, and natural. Accommodation can be found near the winery at Chateau Elan At The Vintage Hunter Valley for MYR 477 a night (2 pax) 

Tamburlaine was established in 1966. In 1985 the Hunter winery was purchased by a small group of friends and relatives led by Managing Director and Chief Winemaker, Mark Davidson. Mark has built his long-term winemaking philosophy around Contemporary Organic practices in the vineyard and the winery. After challenging years of research and development, Tamburlaine Wines have become one of Australia’s largest producers of organic wines with vineyards in the Hunter Valley and Orange region. Accommodation can be found near the winery at Pokolbin Village Accommodation for MYR 337 a night (2 pax) 

Wallington Wines is a family owned and operated Organic and Biodynamic farm producing certified grapes and olives just outside the picturesque town of Canowondra in the Central Ranges Region of New South Wales. Their unique straw bale cellar door and winery was establish in 1999 and is home to the Wallington Wine brand. All processes of making the wine from bud to bottle is undertaken on the property. Accommodation can be found near the winery at The Old Vic Inn for MYR 399 a night (2 pax)
