StayMii, the MYSTI-certified hospitality and tourism technology brand, has entered into a Strategic Partnership Memorandum of Understanding with GlobalTix Pte Ltd, a leading B2B ticketing and experience distribution platform.

The partnership aims to connect Malaysian attraction and experience operators with broader regional and global markets by combining StayMii’s local tourism technology solutions with GlobalTix’s international distribution network.

The MOU was signed on August 27th, 2026 in Kuala Lumpur by Ms Looi Je Dee, Director of Mii Global Partner Holdings Sdn. Bhd, and Chan Chee Kong, Chief Operating Officer of GlobalTix Pte Ltd, during NICE 2026, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre under the theme “Mission to Market: Malaysia to the World.”

The NICE 2026 event was officiated by YAB Dato Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, while the MOU signing ceremony was witnessed by YB Datuk Chang Lih Kang, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI).

Connecting Local Tourism Technology with Global Distribution StayMii is strengthening its technology and connected distribution environment for Malaysian attractions and tourism operators through its strategic partnership with GlobalTix, combining StayMii’s local tourism technology capabilities with GlobalTix’s established international B2B distribution network.

Through the StayMii Global Market Connect (SGMC) initiative, StayMii is building a connected distribution environment that helps attractions, museums, tours, cultural sites and experiences connect with relevant regional and international travel marketplaces through a central technology environment.

The collaboration with GlobalTix further strengthens the distribution opportunities available through the StayMii Global Market Connect (SGMC) initiative, enabling participating Malaysian attractions and experiences to access GlobalTix’s established B2B network of travel agents, resellers, OTAs and international tourism channels.

Together, StayMii and GlobalTix are creating a stronger pathway from local tourism technology to international distribution — helping Malaysian attractions and experiences strengthen their digital presence, reach new markets and bring more Malaysian experiences to travellers around the world.

In her remarks Ms Looi said “True tourism digitalisation goes beyond simply putting tickets online. It is about creating meaningful connectivity between local tourism operators and the wider travel ecosystem. Through our collaboration with GlobalTix, StayMii provides the local technology and connectivity foundation through our StayMii Global Market Connect initiative, while GlobalTix brings

established international distribution capabilities. Together, we are creating a stronger pathway for Malaysian attractions and experiences to connect with regional and international tourism
markets. This partnership creates a strong launching pad for Malaysian tourism operators to adopt digital technology, expand their distribution reach, and bring more Malaysian experiences to the
global tourism market.

Meanwhile, Chan, Chief Operating Officer, GlobalTix Pte Ltd said “We are excited to work with StayMii and support its vision of building a more connected digital tourism ecosystem in Malaysia. StayMii brings valuable local market knowledge and a technology platform focused on the needs of Malaysian tourism operators. Through the collaboration with StayMii, GlobalTix combines its

international distribution capabilities with StayMii’s local tourism technology and market knowledge. This partnership creates a stronger pathway for Malaysian attractions and experiences to
connect with regional and international tourism markets. Together, we see an opportunity to create a more connected digital journey for tourism operators while helping Malaysian attractions and experiences reach wider travel markets.”
