This time around, the WhiskyPLUS 2024: The Ultimate Whisky Experience came to Penang for its showcase.

The gathering is Malaysia’s premier whisky and spirits show. It was hosted at the luxurious Penang Marriott Hotel.

It is dedicated to spreading the love and appreciation for quality whisky and other spirits. 

Attendees had the unique opportunity to learn about and taste a diverse range of fine whiskies and spirits, all in one extraordinary setting. 

But it’s not just about whisky. The “PLUS” in WhiskyPLUS signifies the inclusion of non-whisky offerings, carefully curated to highlight the craftsmanship of boutique bottlers and craft distillers. 

This allows guests to explore a wider variety of spirits, ensuring there’s something for every palate.

Guests at the event were able to immerse themselves in the rich world of whiskies and spirits, where enthusiasts and connoisseurs come together to celebrate and savor the finest offerings from around the globe.

Present to ensure the smooth flow of events was TEGmedia Event Director, Chad Merchant and his team.

Among the top range of whisky brands were Old Smuggler, Kavalan, Old Pulteney, Balblair, Glenlivet, Deacon, Phraya, Wild Turkey, Bunnahabhain, Deanston, ancnoc, Hankey Bannister, Aberlour, Speyburn, Caorunn gin, Monin juices from France to name a few.

Participating companies were Luen Heng F&B Sdn Bhd, Pernod Ricard Malaysia, International Beverage among others.
