Ballroom dancers and enthusiasts take note !
The 4th Kuala Lumpur City International Ballroom Dance Championship 2024 will be held at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel Kuala Lumpur’s Manhattan Ballroom on August 25, 2024.
There will be two sessions, 8am till 5.30pm and evening session from 6.30pm to 11.30pm.
Winners stand to gain cash prizes, trophies and medals.
A capacity crowd of parents and their supporters are expected to turn out in fullforce.
Event organiser, Vernon Choo who himself is a ballroom & Latin dance instructor, said that participants from 20 countries are expected to take part.
“They are from Italy, Poland, Lithuania, England, Sweden, Kazakhstan, Georgia, China, Japan,
Taiwan and Korea to name a few.
“The competition is also part of the Asian Dance Festival 2024 where two more rounds of competition will be held in Taiwan (August 29) and Seoul, South Korea on September 1, 2024.
“Competition will be held in the Professional Open, Professional Asia Pacific, Amateur Open, Amateur Asia Pacific, Amateur Malaysia, Closed MBDC Ranking, Amateur Rising Star, Youth U21, Pro Am, Junior and Senior categories.
“This competition is also supported by Tourism Malaysia”, added Choo.
