Sunway Group celebrates their founder’s conferment of “Sir” title

The Sunway Group celebrates the conferment of the award of “Sir” to their founder and chairman Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Sir Jeffrey Cheah.
He was conferred the Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (KBE), by His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom for his meritorious contributions to higher education, health services and philanthropy.
The award, which carries the title “Sir”, is the first conferred by His Majesty on a Malaysian citizen.
The honorary knighthood is a highly prestigious and rare distinction for citizens of a non-Commonwealth Realm nation.
