Qatar Airlines, flydubai, Xiamen Airlines coming to PIA

More exciting news for the burgeoning tourism industry.in Penang.
Qatar Airlines will re-commence its flight to Penang on Oct 29, 2023 while Flydubai is expected to fly to Penang and Langkawi wef February 2024.
The new development was confirmed by State Exco for Tourism and Creative Economy, YB Wong Hon Wai in a facebook posting.
“Welcome Flydubai Direct Flight to Penang starting Feb 2024. After Guilin, will be Xiamen followed by Doha and then Dubai. Direct flights to Penang lining up,” it read.
Wong also sighted flydubai posting which read –
“Exciting news!
We’re launching flights to Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia. Flights will start from 10 February and you can book today on flydubai.com.
Meanwhile, flydubai (FZ), is a Dubai Government owned airline, offers a network of over 90 destinations in 48 countries across Africa, Asia and Europe.
