Some 950 medical practitioners and related personnel of the International Congress of Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Malaysia held their 30th conference at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre here recently.
On hand to launch the gathering was Penang caretaker government’s Chief Minister YAB Chow Kon Yeow along with International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics president Dr Jeanne Conry, OGSM organising committee chairman Dr Nazimah Idris among others.
After the launching ceremony gambit which included traditional dance performances, guests were busy leading their ears for a speech by Chow and VIP guests.
Chow also toured the various booth set-up at the gathering and mingled with participants.
The OGSM conference was brought to Penang by the fine efforts of the team at the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau or PCEB.
