Members of the media and their family members were treated to a media gathering at Fantasia Aquapark in Jitra, Kedah recently.

In all, some 105 guests got to enjoy the various facilities at the soon to be opened facility on December 2, 2021.

The 4.5 acre aquapark is the only such facility for folks in Kedah and Perlis where guests can enjoy activities like the twin water slides, children splash pad, lazy river, water cave and their main pool.

There is also an elevated main stage area for live events and shows.

Due to strict standard operating procedures (SOP) only 50% of the entrance capacity will be allowed entry at any one time. Other SOPs require guests to be double vaccinated, and properly attired.

There are also several cafes, restaurants, local massage shops and a souvenir shop for guests to enjoy. The restaurants offer a list of Western, local food and delicacies, not forgetting Penang nasi kandar and drinks.

“We are offering stalls for local traders to set up their businesses without any rental. This is our way of giving back to the community,” said Nar Azaman Ibrahim, the managing director of SAB Global (M) Sdn Bhd.

Also present was SAB Global chief executive officer Dato V. Harikrishnan Veerasamy, Dato Shahril Abdul Aziz (Advisor) and chief operating officer, P.S. Jayaaselan Sinniah.

Entrance fee for adults is RM18 while for children above two years-old and senior citizens is RM12.

On hand to greet visitors are their four mascots namely, Bee Bee, RaRa, Rem and Eemut.

“We wish to highlight that all of our staff members have been double vaccinated and they have also gone through first aid training in case of any emergencies. Nevertheless, there are also five lifeguards at any one time to ensure safety,” added Nar Azaman.

Fantasia Aquapark is open daily from 10am to 6pm while for those wanting to patronise their restaurants can do so till 10pm
