PCEB partners G Hotel to send food to girls home

The Penang Convention and Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) went on another corporate social responsibility (CSR) trip to help those in need.
Following Business Events (BE) @ Penang 2020, PCEB made a pledge to contribute back to the community with the registration fees collected during last year’s conference by working with hotel partners and visiting organizations/ orphanages in Penang.
As part of their CSR Food Donation Drive, PCEB partnered with G Hotel Gurney in providing meals for the wonderful girls of the Wisma Yatim Perempuan Jalan Scotland Penang recently.
On hand to meet the children was PCEB chief executive officer, Ashwin Gunasekeran, G Hotel general manager Michael Hanratty and Director of Communications, Christina Tan.
The food packs contained the hotel’s popular takeaway lunch pack which contained ayam goreng berempah sambal, and sauteed cauliflower and broccoli was specially prepared by the hotel’s chefs.
Besides the allocated meals, G Hotel also presented the girls with a ‘Confidence Package’ that includes a face mask, a face mask holder and antibacterial wipes.
