Christmas is just around the corner and everyone wants to get into the jolly mood, more so, this year.
To get things in motion, the Straits Quay Retail Marina has chosen their theme this year to be “A Winter Adventure”.
They want to take all of us through to experience winter joy despite the pandemic season this year.
A festive atmosphere as a picturesque spot for family. A giant tree (30ft tall tree) in the centre of Straits Court adorned with ornaments including snowflakes, snowman and glittering lights.
Other areas like lobby & market streets are decorated with centrepiece lights, garlands & snowflakes.
The decorations will be displayed from till Jan 3, 2021.
The decorations are incorporated with the mall’s current redemption program Syok-ing Bonanza Tier 2: Empire Board Game where a 40X40ft giant board game at the Straits Court for shoppers to play.
Shoppers only need to spend a minimum RM50 to roll dice and win tenants vouchers.
Meanwhile, the Sunway Carnival Mall in Seberang Jaya has put up colourful Christmas trees with reindeers to welcome shoppers. They can also look out for bargain deals on offer and also indulge in the selfie session with the wonderful Christmas backgrounds in place.
Over at the Queensbay Mall, be overwhelmed & get into a graceful mode. One can experience at A.MAZE.ing Grace Trail. Take a slow stroll, mindful on the new norm and walk through the mirroring grand entrance.
Let your sweet journey be painted in the classic Christmas colours of red and white. Everywhere you turn, reflecting images will emerge in these twin colours.
Soothing green and sparkling gold colours throughout the decorations added those fine touches to your celebration mood. Take a look and you can spot unicorns, reindeers and many more gazing at you.
There is also a magnificent white Christmas tree.
Meanwhile, the Gurney Plaza is bringing the vibrant London city to shoppers here.
They are showcasing a London double-decker bus at its atrium for shoppers along with a giant Christmas tree with decorations.
One can see the replica of London red telephone box, underground station signages, pubs, restaurants and upscale boutique buildings.There is alsi a magical Christmas light show daily till Jan 3.
The Gurney Paragon Mall is hosting its Season of Giving themed Christmas this year.
The main attraction is undoubtedly the adorable bird houses located at the atrium of the mall and the decoration is also part of our community initiative to remind people that the needy are not forgotten especially during this challenging year.
“This will be a very different season for us all, but it will be a very special one because we all get to keep the magic of the season alive in a way that’s full of hope and memorable for everyone. All of the proceeds will be channeled to The Children’s Protection Society to help the underprivileged children.

It is decked out with Christmas trees, windmill, snowman and also a seating area to take your selfies.
Over at the The Eastern & Oriental (E&O) Hotel, they welcomed the festive season online as the storied heritage hotel continued its cherished Christmas Tree Lighting tradition for the 17th year – but in a notable first, via the virtual way.
E&O Hotel general manager, Allison Fraser, lighted up the six-metre tall tree under the famed echo dome.
Elsewhere, the Iconic Hotel on the mainland has placed a giant bear wearing a face mask to observe this Christmas.
