It is worth checking out the semi buffet set lunch or dinner set at the Mercure Hotel Penang Beach in Tanjung Bungah.
Not only does one get a chance to help themselves to the selection of starters on the spread, they also can help themselves to the salad of the day, soup of the day which comes with bread and butter and also dessert of the day.
As for the main course, there are four choices, namely, Seabass Penne Rossa (pan-seared with penne pasta, spinach and tomatoes cream sauce.
Next is the Balinese Stew Lamb which is slow cooked with fresh spices served with steamed rice and Asian pickles.
The third choice is Ayam Bumbu Kuning which is fried chicken in fresh spices served with steamed rice and pickled vegetables.
Lastly, there is the Chicken Katsu which is Japanese inspired breaded chicken served with Japanese steamed rice, shoyu tamago and kimchi salad.
