The Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Kedah / Perlis Chapter in collaboration with the Tanjung Rhu Resort Langkawi will be hosting a gala dinner on Friday, December 4, 2020.

MAH Kedah / Perlis Chapter chairman, Eugene Dass said that they expect some 250 guests from Langkawi, Kedah, Penang and Kuala Lumpur to attend the joyous event.

“Nevertheless, all of the SOPs like social distancing, wearing of masks, making sanitizers available will be observed at the dinner,” he added.

Lending their support to the occasion are the MAH delegation from Kuala Lumpur comprising of board members and other MAH chapter chairmans from all around the country and partners.

Local celebrity chef and television personality, Sherson Lian accompanied by Chef Johnny Fua from Kitchen Mafia will be on hand to prepare the meals.
Celebrity Chef Sherson who is very well known in the region will be preparing some of his signature BBQ Items such as Lamb and Beef.

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Hazel Leong and Friends.

The gala dinner is priced at RM1,200 per table (10 pax) while the Tanjung Rhu Resort will be offering a special room rate at RM280 with two breakfast included.

“This is the first time in the decade that an event of this nature is being organised by the MAH Chapter and it will also see the MAH National Board in attendance,” said organising chairman Reginald T Pereira.

“This gathering is also an opportunity for us to meet, have some good food, drinks and dance the evening away with some very good entertainment,” added Pereira.
