This was followed by Foie Gras Trio (Foie gras crème brûlée, bourbon foie gras terrine, pan seared foie gras with balsamic glaze) with Katnook Founder’s Block Chardonnay, 2016 and Oxtail Consomme and Grapefruit and Cranberry Vodka Sorbet.
Before the main dishes, the Classic Lobster Thermidor (Boston Lobster, aged American cheddar butter poached asparagus paired with Katnook Odyssey, Cabernet Sauvignon were served. .
The finale was the Australian Wagyu Tomahawk (Truffle mash, grilled broccolini, truss tomatoes, roasted garlic Sauce béarnaise, red wine jus, chimichurri) served with Katnook Prodigy, Shiraz .
The dessert for the cosy evening consisted of the Valrhona Chocolate Delight with fresh berries, bourbon caramel.
To sum up the evening, the show stoppers was surely the air flown giant Boston lobsters and the Tomahawk wagyu spread.
