Alor Star’s Star City and Fuller Hotel has reopened recently after the two weeks of lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The management of the hotels has undertaken through cleaning and sanitizing exercise for all of the hotel interior and exterior areas.
To this regard, the staff also carried out a gotong- royong project to ensure part of the hotel is cleaned.
Among them are the lobby area, coffeehouse, lifts, rooms, kitchen, ballroom, function rooms, car park and all other relevant areas.
General manager Eugene Dass said that although the temporary closure resulted in loss of business due to prior bookings having to be cancelled, they cannot compromise the health and safety of guests.
“We look forward to welcoming guests with all the SOPs put in place,” said Dass who is also the chairman of the Malaysan Association of Hotels Kedah / Perlis chapter.
He also added that they are also ready to welcome MICE events as well as weddings and seminars with new SOPs in place.
Both hotels are also a short walking distance to the Aman Central Mall.
