If you are a “true blue” lover of nasi kandar, you have to try out the newly created “nasi bantal” available at the Bayview Hotel Georgetown Penang.
Created with much finesse, diners have a choice of nasi bantai chicken or nasi bantal beef with piping hot curry, special sauces, ladies finger and boiled eggs priced at RM8 (chicken) or RM9 (beef).
For the uninitiated, “bantal” is a Malay word meaning a pillow so literally meaning that once you have had the meal, the satisfaction will put you to a good sleep.
“We came up with the idea to serve tasty, quality and affordable nasi kandar cooked by our team of Malay chefs led by chef Tony Tan.
“The response has been tremendous so far with many opting to take away to enjoy the meals in the comfort of their homes or their offices.
