The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi awarded “Green Hotel” certification supported by Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture

The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi is proud to announce that it has been officially awarded the Green Hotel certification by the Tourist Accommodation Premises Grading Panel (PPP) under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) Malaysia.

The certification is awarded to properties that uphold a stringent set of criteria which evaluates ESG in alignment with Malaysia’s 2030 sustainable tourism goals. The accreditation was approved during the 2026 Panel Meeting No. 2, recognizing the resort’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and responsible tourism practices. 

This esteemed certification is valid until 2029.
