More and more hotels in Penang are offering Ramadan takeaways since the Movement Control Order (MCO) was put in force.

The latest being the Sunway Hotel Georgetown and Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya here.

Dubbed the “Ramadan Grab N’ Go”, they hope to provide the community with more choices to break their fast while staying at home.

The whole family can indulge in the finest selection of iftar delights with dishes such as Nasi Minyak Saffron dengan Ayam Peri-peri, Nasi Putih Pandan dengan Kepala Ikan Salmon (available also as a family meal for four persons), Grilled Chicken Skewer Yakitori, Cheesy Salmon Lasagna, and Lamb Fajitas.

Complete the meal with sweet desserts of Crème Brulee, Mango White Pearls, and a Melange of Tropical Fruits. Prices of main dishes start from MYR32 and MYR10 for desserts.

As part of the safety measures practiced due to the current Movement Control Order, guests may order from the comfort of their home by contacting the hotels through phone calls or WhatsApp.

Self-pick-up or Grab delivery at additional charges may be arranged once a proof of payment to the hotels is sent through email or WhatsApp.

Guests who are picking up food from the hotels will receive complimentary bottled water and dates to sweeten the deal.

Orders must be made at least four hours in advance before collection. The promotion is available from May 1 to 23 May 2020, and operation hours are from 10am to 7pm daily.
