Holiday makers can now travel and stay with confidence at Sunway Hotel Georgetown and Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya properties.
Both of the hotels have been officially certified by the “Clean & Safe Malaysia” programme, the first ever industry-wide hygiene and safety label in the country launched by the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) July this year. 
The programme is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Malaysia (MOTAC), serving as a benchmark of hygiene and safety standards among the hotel industry of Malaysia. 
The “Clean & Safe Malaysia” programme is designed specifically for hotels and resorts in compliance with both local regulatory requirements and international standards. 
Bureau Veritas Malaysia (BVM), a trusted agency in conformity assessment and certification services for testing, inspection and certification has been appointed as the independent auditor to audit and monitor participating hotels throughout the entire certification period. 
Both the Sunway hotels in Penang accomplished satisfactory levels under a host of rigorous criteria, including Health and Safety, Management, Facilities, Hygiene and Cleaning. Stay, Swim & Splash Package for Domestic Travellers Embracing the new normal and in order to encourage domestic travels.
Sunway Hotel Georgetown is presently offering a promotion with the Escape Theme Park to instill more fun for those looking for local adventure. 
The Stay, Swim and Splash Package for two adults starts from RM455 nett per room per night includes a 2D1N stay with complimentary upgrade to a Premier Room, complimentary breakfast set for two, two adult entrance tickets to the Escape Theme Park, and a RM30 transportation expense rebate per booking.
