The Mercure Penang Beach in Tanjung Bungah will re-open its doors for guests on Tuesday, Oct 20, 2020.

The “ALL Safe” standards by Accor Group will be implemented which ensures that enhanced cleanliness and safety measures are in place for its guests and associates.

The ALL SAFE by Accor incorporates the best industry practices and protocols for cleanliness, sanitization, and operations of their hotels and restaurants.

 

 

Owned by Plenitude Heights Sdn Bhd and managed by Accor Hotels under the Mercure Hotels brand will welcome back guests to Rediscover Penang from RM168++ with an all new normal experience.

The new team at the hotel is led by general manager Ms Jasmine Keh and her able team.

She comes with vast experience in the hospitality industry while working in Penang and foreign destinations.

“The Mercure Penang Beach Hotel has been a holiday goer’s favourite beach and city for local visitors as well as international tourists.

“It saddens us to temporarily suspend operations during the height of the pandemic crisis. Nevertheless, we are pleased to reopen our doors and welcome our guests and customers once again.” said Keh.

The ALL SAFE by Accor that incorporates the best industry practices and protocols for cleanliness, sanitization, and operations of our hotels and restaurants. Among the key elements of the All SAFE standards include, Introducing new processes and easy-to-use technology to create a low-to-no contact guest experience, Incorporating social distancing into processes and various spaces, Outfitting associates with masks and gloves, and making masks available for guests and Enhanced cleaning and sanitization protocols that go beyond leading hospitality industry standards and SOP guidelines.

Beginning October 20th, The Ombak, the hotel’s seafront restaurant and crowd favourite, will also reopen for breakfast and for all day dining with a new improvised menu.

Additionally, patio dining will be available and carry-out and pick-up will be offered.

Guests can access the hotel pool and gym with strict SOP and enjoy their secluded Tanjung Bungah beach again.

The ballroom and halls are also ready to receive events according to MICE new SOP to accommodate corporate and wedding bookings.
