Singapore listed company, Sim Leisure Group Ltd has opened its second ESCAPE-branded theme park at Paradigm Mall in Petaling Jaya recently (Wednesday, August 26).
Dubbed “Escape Challenge”, it is an indoor theme park giving today’s urbanites an escape from the sedentary lifestyle of indoor leisure & entertainment.
The rides and attractions in this indoor replicate the fun and play of our previous generations who enjoyed the natural environment.
The facility is designed for guests for all ages, physical abilities and confidence levels.
“Escape Challenge Petaling Jaya is our showcase for Escape’s brand of retro-eco fun and outdoor play in a contemporary setting.
“This reflects the synergy between Escape and partnering malls and developers to bring the outdoors indoors and marks Escape’s foray into urban cities.” said Sim Choo Kheng, Founder and Chief Escape Officer of Escape Challenge.
Meanwhile, Selene Chua, chief executive officer of WCT Malls Bhd said that they are thrilled to introduce the Escape Challenge Park in the 35,000 square feet semi outdoor world class recreation facility to its shoppers.
“The birth of Escape Challenge Park strengthens Paradigm Mall PJ as a wholesome family community mall that caters for the needs and wants of the community not only through shopping and dining alone but also through its enriching experiences.
The Escape Challenge Park is open from Tuesdays to Sundays from 10am to 10pm. There are 11 attractions to cater for all ages including kids.
Among the attractions includes Monkey Business which requires to climb and navigate, Gecko Tower, Aerobat, Banana Flip, Monkey School, Coco Climb, Air Bag, Zoom Bug and Jumping Jack to name a few.
The group’s first theme park in Malaysia, Escape, is located at Teluk Bahang in Penang.
